Trinity FM will be electing a new committee at our AGM on the 27th of March.   Facebook event

It is a good idea to have a chat with this year’s committee if you are interested in running, also let people know why you think you are the student for the job!

The following positions are up for election:

- Chairperson

- Station Manager

- Treasurer

- Secretary

- Public Relations Officer

- Senior Sound Engineer

- Junior Sound Engineer

- Ents Officer

- Webmaster

- Amenities Officer

We will also be choosing 5 OCMs to join the committee at the beginning of next term along with 8-10 editors.

That it is strictly against the rules to pre-campaign.

That means no messaging or emailing of TFM members asking them to vote for you. If you are found to be pre-campaigning, you may be disqualified. TFM is an open society, and our elections are decided on the night following speeches by the candidates.

Trinity’s Own

TrinityFM are collaborating with DUPA, Fashion Soc and Literary Society to bring to Trinity students the talent of Trinity.

There will be a endless live music at it with Trinity students displaying their talents including:

Jack Ryan, Morgan Macintyre, Darren Yorke, Cameron Macaulay, Colm MacGearailt, Rosa Nutty, Gavin MacDermott, Llloyd Hamilton, Claire Hyland and Aisling O’ Leary, Kaleidofolk, New Ink, Conor Lavelle, Clare Grogan.

DUPA will be presenting an exhibition of ‘Talent’, showcasing some of the colleges most talented photographers

IMPORTANT !!
Trinity FM will be electing a new committee at our AGM on the 27th of March. It is a good idea to have a chat with this year’s committee if you are interested in running, also let people know why you think you are the student for the job!  Just a reminder You won’t be able  obtain membership 3 days before an AGM.

Only members of TrinityFM will have a vote.

At the meeting, all the committee  will read their reports on the year and a new committee will be elected.

The election will be administered on the basis of “a single transferable vote based on the system of proportional representation”

- Public Relations Officer

- Senior Sound Engineer

- Junior Sound Engineer

- Ents Officer

Congratulations Everyone!

 

Thanks to all the hard work put in by the contributors, editors and committee members and of course, thanks to all the listeners, Trinity FM was named Overall Society of the Year at the CSC awards last week!!

Not only that, but we won Best Medium Society and received nominations for the Societies’ Choice Award, Best Online Presence, and our very own Claire McCabe was nominated for Person of the Year!

And that was only the beginning of an excellent week for not only Trinity FM, but Trinity in general…

 

Trinity Jailbreak 2013

This weekend Trinity Jailbreak took the nation (and the globe!) by storm and we were proud and privileged to lend our studio to the occasion. They racked up 5,800 listeners!!

Congratulations to the teams and the organisers who have managed to raise
€10,000+ for VDP and Amnesty in just one weekend.
